HD 3024: Community Analytics

This course introduces students to the application of data analytics concepts, such as data sources, data quality, data representation, and data ethics, to community issues at local and global levels. Students will evaluate public reports that use data, apply statistical analysis to improve community livability, and learn to effectively communicate data and statistics to community stakeholders.

This course offers students practical tools and experiences in using data, enabling them to better understand community issues and evaluate the effectiveness of community interventions.

Prerequisite: STAT 2004 or HD 3014.
