Pathways General Education for Faculty and Administrators

As of 10/1/25, Pathways concept 7, Critical Analysis of Identity and Equity in the U.S., has been suspended as a result of this Resolution Affirming Administration Action Under Exigent Circumstances.

The Pathways General Education program engages staff and faculty across disciplines. As a requirement for all undergraduate degrees, the program touches nearly every student, advisor, and instructor who studies or works at Virginia Tech. 

The Office of General Education offers several tools, listed below, to support instructors as they develop and teach Pathways courses and develop and deliver Pathways minors.
