Pathways General Education is the shared academic experience of every student at Virginia Tech.

The program is flexible, diverse, and creates a knowledge-base that compliments their academic focus, interests, and meets their career goals.

Central to the initiative are the Pathways Minors, transdisciplinary programs that allow undergraduates to meet part of their general education requirements while addressing vital issues such as sustainability, social justice, cybersecurity, and big data, among many others.
